PADI & The Pressure Project
This is a free event open to anyone with an interest in Freediving, and will run from 11am to approximately 2pm on Saturday 11th May 2024 at Kawana Waters pool on the Sunshine Coast, (Kawana Aquatic Centre - Google My Maps).
This PADI Freediver Event gives you the opportunity to meet PADI Freediver Instructor Trainer, and PADI Ambassadiver, Adam Sellars from The Pressure Project to get some firsthand tips from a Pro. Adam will provide information around freediving, walk participants through a breathwork session, coach a Static Apnea workshop (yes, in the pool!), with participants receiving the opportunity to finish the session with an ice bath. Successfully completing this workshop can also credited towards your PADI Freediver course.
Annie Halloran, the PADI Regional Manager for Australia, will make a guest appearance to walk you through the training and certification possibilities with PADI, from complete beginner through to Instructor Trainer, along with some PADI Freediver merch giveaways.
All are welcome but registration is essential.
