Nestled just off the coast of Byron Bay lies Julian Rocks (Nguthungulli), a breathtakingly beautiful marine reserve that offers some of the best freediving opportunities in Australia. With crystal-clear waters, an abundance of marine life, and a variety of depths to explore, Julian Rocks is the perfect destination for both beginner and experienced freedivers alike.

As you descend into the depths of the ocean, you’ll be greeted by an array of colourful corals, fish, and other fascinating sea creatures. From playful sea turtles to majestic rays and even the occasional passing pod of dolphins or whales, the marine life at Julian Rocks is truly awe-inspiring.

If you are completing your course, or depth training, our experienced instructors are on hand to guide you through the learning process so you can develop the skills and confidence necessary to push your limits and explore the underwater world in a whole new way. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, learning to freedive at Julian Rocks is an unforgettable experience that will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Boat Harbour, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483 – Wild Byron Safaris to Julian Rocks or location nearby. Time confirmed the week prior

All times will be confirmed via email 1 week prior to the course (please ignore the booking times, this will vary)

Pricing

$150 - includes boat trip, and fun dive guided by your instructor

$180 - includes boat trip, fun dive guided by your instructor, AND Line training with an instructor *must be certified or coming back to complete your course

$0 - you have already paid for a course, and were unable to come out and complete your ocean component.
